But if there is friction in the ACE, it's not because the harriers couldn't make the timeline
Fixed it for you. Still trolling?

I thought the Navy flew E-6's out of Tinker....
And the strike package will just be smaller, because a division of Rhinos is now going to be in the morono-sphere.
It's "you're out of you're element Donny"You don't know what you are talking about, Donny.
Would you call an F-117 pilot a "fighter pilot?"
Better yet, would you tell the Sea Harrier pilots in the Faulklands that they weren't?
I enjoy some good-nature ribbing of my Harrier buddies, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they weren't fighter pilots. Granted, there are far better platforms out there for A/A, but they do train to the mission to a small extent.
You don't know what you are talking about, Donny. Although I do appreciate all the faith you helo guys have in us.
There were some highly motivated A-6 drivers who strapped on AIM-9s in hopes of going MiG hunting.I think they proudly consider themselves attack pilots, just like that A-6 guys did. Oh, and an F-117 is a bomber by the way.

I agree with you, I just remembered something I had read about an A-6 squadron armed with winders in VietNam. The last pure AA platform in the US inventory is the F-15C. Every other TacAir platform is multirole. The whole F-117 thing was a result of the AF hateing the letter A.And I carry chaff and an ALQ... does that make me an EF/A-18?

You're right, I don't. And there's a metric fuck-ton more to the Marine Corp's mission than a strike package coming off a carrier. You don't know what you are talking about, Donny. Although I do appreciate all the faith you helo guys have in us.

I bet you are the same kind of guy who goes to a strip club and wonders why all the girls aren't already naked.
