Everything takes a back seat to restoring the warrior ethos
Except taking 30 minutes out of your day once a week to distil your work down to five bullet points that Grok will digest and make life-changing decisions based on keywords... because that is definitely contributing to lethality and warrior ethos. I'd take these people more seriously if they hadn't been absolutely bungling the roll-out of these new policies. To wit: The continually changing guidance on how/when/whether to reply to the five bullets email (or which of the three different emails civilians are supposed to reply to), has resulted in countless man-hours wasted across the Department. A complete clown show. So, I'll get on board with their "Warrior Ethos" mandates just as soon as they demonstrate the ability to perform basic HR functions and policy roll-out without repeatedly stepping on their own dicks.

The whole subtext of the request is insulting and would make anyone question ever pursuing a federal govt job. Explain your existence to the Ketamine-addled billionaire, who can't dress properly at a cabinet meeting, why you're not a turd. Truly inspiring stuff.

This is what happens when a guy who was born with a silver spoon up his ass, moved to a valley with a culture of narcissism and entitlement, and was fed a steady diet of drugs, video games, and idealistic talented college graduates to do his bidding, is then placed in charge of a governmental organization by royal decree.

He is too full of himself to realize he has no idea what he is doing. Silicon Valley hubris at its “finest”.

This was an email from the acting director at DTRA Brett (a USAF MG). I suppose at some level he recognizes the need, and mandate, to comply with the orders and direction of his CoC.

Maybe a single-family will become affordable again
Having lived in DC recently, the issue is more the lawyers/lobbyists/contractors that have their hooks into Uncle Sam making beacoup bucks. Unfortunately that's really hard to fix. So instead we get press releases and shiny videos that look like things are happening.
