I couldn't imagine getting blindsided with that on a Thanksgiving morale/PR call being recorded live. He did a great job though, best he could. Should be a primer for next Thanksgiving for the poor deployed AF sap chosen to get asked questions about next generation aircraft live on air.

I have to say I’m impressed with the skipper in the conversation. Do CVN CO’s get a charm school where they learn to talk like that? Obviously he knows much more of the subject matter than I (he being a CVN skipper), but I thought he hung in there well, and didn’t miss a beat

Also, is that real? I dont believe that is real…..
