Correct. He said "my record shows" that I will be joining the July 26th class but the letter hasn't been received yet. Somehow us age critical guys must be all sorts of weird. He said to expect the letter any day. Also @MemphisBell not yet. Like I said there is a chance the background check will continue while we are at OCS. It isn't unheard of.
Man, I wish my recruiter could look on the system for my date. I need to start my discharge from the Army.

Well it looks like July 27 might be the earliest date that SNA's from the April board will be heading to OCS. However, seems like there is already a lot of NFO's and SWO's that have this class date so this class might get full quick!

If you fail the flight physical, you can redesignate or drop out and go back to your civilian life. The navy does this so they don't have to pay for you to travel to NAMI and then travel again to OCS when they can get it done at OCS. It definitely sucks for the people going in thinking they are SNA only to be redesignated to NFO or SWO. However, the navy does this because it is actually not very common for someone to fail the flight physical once they pass the standard physical at MEPS. However it does happen........
May I ask how you know so much? Lol

Alright cool, thanks for the quick response.
And I know I didn't have to take the physical but for some reason my recruiter was dead set on making me take it.
So what happens if someone doesn't pass part of the flight physical at OCS?
Wouldn't that be a big waste of time? It makes more sense to do the physical prior to OCS.

Oh well I appreciate it

Given the number of SNA and SNFO the USN sends to OCS compared to the number that are found to be not qualified it is cheaper to do it the way they do it

On another note, does anyone know if there were any recent Supply or IW boards?
Live look in at ClassyGent23 coming out from under his rock lol.

I was Pro-Rec Y for SWO-IP on 13 April. Given that the board schedule lists SWO-IP / IP / SWO-IW / IW at the same board, I would assume that IW happened then as well. There was a 14% selection rate for the board.

it wasn't that high (more like 12.5 - 13), you have to take out CWE since they are a different selection path (board, but not really) even though they are included in the results, they are screened for interview, if they look like they warrant an interview they are given one by the "10th fleet".

CWE drastically restricts who can even apply by specifying which college they must have attended.
