If NFO is your first choice you will be processed/going to OCS as one. One you get selected for your first choice everything else is scrapped.

Oh yeah I know I'm going as NFO I'm just not sure if July 22 is still going to happen because they were waiting to schedule me till after the Intel board.

Mike, supposedly my command has not actually sent it as they were confused as to how to write out "ASAP". They would feel more comfortable putting an actual date on there so I think that will be resolved this week.

If it is backed up, I really don't know how to push that information forward. I will be following up more though in a few weeks. I wanted to let the dust settle a little bit. I'm in no rush to be in RI in the winter!

I am in the same boat as you, when was your board? How were your ASTB Scores, I am kinda freaking out. My timeline is crunched to the max. ASTB 61 OAR 6/6/7 with GPA of 3.5 Deadline is tomorrow, Board for aviation is Aug 15 and Would have to leave by Sep 2 to finish OCS before my birthday on Nov 28th. I know there is a way but I have strong doubts but am really hopeful. Anythoughts?

I got accepted with a 56 6/6/7 3.34 so I wouldn’t worry about getting in. As for that date you’ll be pushing it. My board didn’t even give results until 2 weeks after the convene date listed on the NRC website

Everything being scrapped isn’t 100% the case. It all depends on the board dates. My first choice was AMDO and second was SWO. The boards were about 2.5 weeks a part from each other and I was selected for both. CNRC contacted my command asking which I wanted with the obvious answer being AMDO due to it being my first choice.

So you were allowed to pick? I read that some people were automatically FINSEL their first choice.
