Yes, Mr. Celestin from CNRC contacted my command and asked which designator I was going to take because I had been selected for both. Now, I will say, both AMDO and SWO were not shipping anyone out right away so I wasn’t being pressed because a FINSEL was coming.

Hell yeah. I've got my finsel for same class. My OR is trying to get me bumped up to Aug 12 though. We'll see what happens, but if not I'll see you there. We'd be going to Pensacola together too (if neither of us rolls for anything of course)
It's kind of a weird roundabout way. I didn't have a CCC when I applied, so I went through the recruiter but eventually had to submit myself. The recruiter was able to look up the PROREC letter when it was released. For my OCS date someone at my NOSC was able to look up in CANTRACS that I am assigned to OCT14. I now have a CCC but he isn't sure how it will come since he hasn't had an active duty application before.
Yes. I got my PROREC for SWO in March and am still waiting. Allegedly, I'm in for 14 OCT but nothing is solid until it's in writing.
I figured his, "Has anyone experienced something similar?" implied that it wasn't his choice to be delayed.
