I just got the call from my recruiter. I'm scheduled to report to OCS on 19 OCT! I'm very excited to be done with the application process. I swear in on Friday and then the even-more-hardcore workouts begin. I'm glad I have some more time to make sure I report in the best shape of my life.

The only thing I have to do now is find a part-time job for some money while I'm waiting. All other applicants - keep your head up, don't take "no" for an answer, and eventually you will get there if you really want it. Thanks to all of you who contribute to this forum and keep it going. It really is a great tool.

Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes. I'll still be sticking around AirWarriors and chiming in with little gold nuggets of idiocy until then :D. I guess now I get to start nuking things like how Christmas break is going to work for me.

Those who have yet to final select - let me know your class dates, I'd like to get to know my teammates a little better between now and then.

Also, is October the beginning of fiscal year 09? The reason I'm asking is my class number - will it be 02-09? Thanks!

What ever happened with the vision NPQ? I am going through getting my BP taken twice a day right now. I was just curious what the turnaround time is.

Re-submitted my civilian doctor paperwork, came back approved and my contract was changed back to SNA. I swear in Friday.
