winging next month, 26 months from start of OCSUnderstood. Based what what you've seen is the "time to wing" right now for SNFOs? Seems like they're moving through quickly?

Was there a lot of waiting aroundFor the strike side of things I started OCS in May of 2021 and just getting started in Advanced.
2 months on OHARP and 5 prior to starting NIFE the rest was just short stuff here and thereWas there a lot of waiting around

A year including wait times to class up? Cuz I started primary in VT2 this week and as much as I like it, I REALLY don’t want it to take a full yearWhiting NAS.
Individual mileage always varies man. You’ll finish when you finish. The T-6 is a stupid fun airplane to fly, soak up every minute of it.A year including wait times to class up? Cuz I started primary in VT2 this week and as much as I like it, I REALLY don’t want it to take a full year

The fleet and its crushing workload isn't going anywhere. There are few better deals on the planet, military or civilian, than being an SNA/SNFO. Milk it for all it's worth, because you ain't getting it back later.A year including wait times to class up? I apologized if it has already been mentioned before but, is IFT-R a part of NIFE or is it a totally different program?IFT-R is for pilots only. There are NFOs on Navy helicopters. If you are talking about NFO-to-Pilot selectees (as in winged NFO retreading), then you go VFR direct to SNA Primary vice taking a second trip to NASC.
IFT-R is supposed to a be rotary-wing specific version of Primary. Its only relation to NIFE is the advertised priority placement in NIFE if you get selected to the program.I apologized if it has already been mentioned before but, is IFT-R a part of NIFE or is it a totally different program?
