Why don’t you just tell us precisely what you did in the jet that undermined your leadership’s trust in your abilities? That would make this a whole lot easier, no?

Would knowing the exact reason the frs wanted to fnaeb him change any of the advice given in this thread?

Not how it works in the TacAir world. Failure to achieve ACTC Level III during your first tour means your flying days are likely over.

Looks like they were saying PPC is esentially level 3, and MC is level 4

PPC is level 3, we call it 300 though. If you don’t get level 3, you are forced to either DOR or attrited. Level 400 has instructor and mission commander. If you don’t make at least 400MC then you almost certainly are done flying in future tours.

Either way with all the advice, you got a desirable outcome. Treat your future as “fuck you I’ll get mine” looking back at those that you used to trust and focus on the next alligator closest to the boat.

What is the NFO level 3 called? Is that just TACCO? VP has always been an outlier on this stuff.

Update: Air Boss decided on a platform transition, so I’m going to Corpus for multi then Jax for VP-30. Overall, this is about the best outcome I could hope for from what has been a pretty tough experience, but I’m coming out better for it.
Congrats. You'll definitely get some questions from genuinely curious people, but keep your head low, trudge through the mud and be the best damn P-8 PPC you can.

IMHO a person's level of success is dependent on three things: luck, skill, and timing. You cant really control timing at large, but work on skill, and you might luck your way into a good/better position if certain things line up in your favor and you happen to be in the right place at the right time with the right skillset/qualifications.
