Is she hot???OK...
Background: graduated from a relatively small high school in the Southeast (~80 in graduating class)
Fast forward ~20 yrs, I'm stationed in SD, and at the squadron I get a cold call from my home area code, and answer. It's a girl I graduated with (ran in different circles at the time/barely spoke with her in HS). She tells me that she'll be in SD in a few weeks visiting a friend and would like to catch up. I said OK, sure, I guess.
Anyways, we meet up in Little Italy at a restaurant, just around the corner from my apt. Normal small talk ensues (did you hear about so-and-so, etc). Then it gets quiet, and she tells me the real reason she flew cross-country...(She's getting older and wants to have a child, and wants to know if I would be a donor...and that she's researched the legalities of it and how I could be not involved or involved as much as I want...and that it could be done via donor, or by natural means 🤷♀️ )
While this convo is happening, my brain is spinning on how to exit this situation cleanly without some weird scene happening...I basically told her that I'd think about it, and get back to her, bc I didn't want to trigger a public meltdown (I mean she flew across the country to obtain my seed)
Needless to say, it was one of the most bizarre encounters I've ever been a part of. 😄
No. If so, I would have asked for the check and proceeded to practice sessions. 😃Is she hot???
OK...

Yeah definitely something to consider even without having a mil career if in later child bearing yearsI know some female officers who have done the single mom thing via in vitro by choice. Not something I would do for my own reasons, but if it’s something you want it’s doable in the context of a mil career.
This is the point where your left brain is screaming, “Eject, eject, eject!” and your right brain is screaming, “I’m a fucking helicopter pilot, I don’t know how to eject!”While this convo is happening, my brain is spinning on how to exit this situation cleanly without some weird scene happening...
I was a young Major at the time, and did relay the story to the CO and the headshed at a meeting in the Skipper's office...I had to get the story off my chest. I knew I was beyond callsign change at that point. As an officer and gentleman, I never spoke of this to my circle of HS friends though.Did you tell her that she was 10-15 years too late for all the supreme call sign content that could have resulted from this story??
Not even “butterface” eligibility???
Nah...to the OP, sorry for the threadjack...It seems like you've gotten some good perspectives from currently serving female officers. Good luck! What about “butterface” eligibility???
