How do you go about going from Active Duty Enlisted to OCS?
You can try and go LDO. If you are an E-6 who has passed the Chief exam and have your bachelor's degree, you can apply. If you are an E-6 and want to take the Chief exam for LDO purposes, you can put in a request chit.

I think that this question is best asked outside of this thread. There are quite a few threads out there already. I have read through a few of them. Look up the thread on stats for people going into OCS. Very interesting. It seems a lot easier than getting in through STA-21. I read that one guy had an NJP in 2006, and was selected for AMO.

No need for a Bachelor's Degree though.

Anything to pass the time at this point is nice.

TRUE!! This is how my day is going... Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh, Refresh..
Same here, I'll probably wear the mouse button out before too long.. It's pretty crazy how your whole career can come down to one piece of paper.

I think you missed a refresh.

I looked through the OCS chapter of the 1420.1 and I don't see anything about any calculus or physics class requirements. It looks like all you need is a 4 year degree in underwater basket weaving and you are good to go.

How many people have Calc completed? Has anyone in oceanography done it? If so what grade did you get?
