Wait, the vision requirements is uncorrected 20/100? Unless I’m understanding this wrong I thought the vision requirement for SNA was 20/40 uncorrected and correctable to 20/20. Either I’m missing something or something changed and I’m cool with it being more relaxed.

The 20/100 is for designated aviators, meaning you’ve already earned your wings and carry the designator 1310.

20/40 is for SNAs meaning your designator is still 1390.

That makes a lot more sense. If I need I’ll most likely just end up getting PRK while I’m in.
