I don't know. I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, it gets pretty good gas mileage(26 city, 30 hw) hugs the road, and doesn't look awful. Have had no problems with itMIDNJAC said:aside from the GTO, I would have to agree w/ this sentiment......I don't hate domestic cars categorically, but Pontiac....what a POS line of cars they have had for the last 15-20 years....

OK, so I was thinking about getting a GTO. Maybe I liked it a little, maybe quite a bit, but I'm going to stick to my guns on this one. It was designed by women for women, and I wouldn't be caught dead in one.Mefesto said:Ok you have how much time behind the wheel of one? And the GTO is a Holden Monaro. Keep your match box car... muscle cars arn't for kids.![]()

Wow. Thanks for letting me in on that. Just think, I might have gone all through life not knowing how clueless I am. So the designer was a dude? I don't think I could have guessed that just by looking at the car.Mefesto said:Because the Aussie's are known for creating 400HP muscle cars for women. Dude you don't have a damn clue. This is like arguing guns with squeeze... the design director for the Holden CV8 was Mike Simcoe. Subsequently built as the Vauxhall for Britain, the GTO for the US, and the CV8 down under.

Right now the '03 Z06's are going for ~$30,000 on ebaymotors. Not a bad deal at all, especially considering many were bought new as "second cars" and as such are very low mileage.
My friends honda looks like that. He thinks its a bumper car or something.GMan1976 said:Does anyone remember the "Chameleon XLE" SNL skit? It was with Phil Hartman and parodied a luxury car commercial. The exterior was a POS but the interior was immaculate. Nobody looking at the car from the outside would ever want to steal it!haha
I tried to find it online but to no avail.... it's a classic though...
