I will bet you a beer or three these VH-3s will get sold and operated once released.

Bell is ramping up a campaign to get the Army to embrace the Bell 505 as a primary helo trainer - given the feedback on UH-72 (cost/complexity as a primary trainer). I do not believe there is an active Army requirement.

I hear a lot of complaints from owners over the Safran engine. Including TH-73?
Especially the TH-73. There have been a LOT of growing pains, particularly in quality and schedule.
They were the cheapest of the AHTS competitors. You get what you pay for.
