So the majority of non deployed single spot ships aren't doing a constant stream of 1-2 day ops like in 20 years ago? Is deck availability that bad - honestly had no idea.

Yes. A big issue is the number of ships. The FFGs are gone and their replacement can't get underway. Plus the other ships are now 20 years older, which doesn't help.
Too bad they got rid of IX514!

That's not a UH-72 (EC-145). That's its predecessor, the EC-135, right? Or did they go back to a fenestron on the T2 edition?
