Im Interested in Flying for the Coast Guard

IMO, CG is a great gig. There are some great duty stations and some great flying (or bad depending on the weather)....or so I'm told by many of my Coast Gaurd compatriates. We cruised with a CG frigate in 01, during Enduring Freedom. They are certainly military with defined mission. I've flow with some young CG SNA's who were certainly the best I've seen. One of them as of late who I would rate in the top 5 I've seen in a year. I told him he should be going tailhook for the Navy but not going to happen. He recently go fixed wing but wanted helo's. Top notch stud not getting what he wanted but thats the Navy....err...CG way I guess.
