NRC goes off the initial arrest. Of course the final disposition goes into play whether a waiver gets approved or not.
That’s weird. He’s technically wrongfully arrested because he didn’t have drugs. I thought you had to list it but a waiver wouldn’t be required.

I have a similar situation well not drugs but I got picked up for some racist stuff and once I got to the station it was sorted out and I went home. No cell no charges. I’m new to the Navy but when I spoke with the Air Force/Army I was told I wouldn’t need a waiver.

Why would you need a waiver? You don’t have a felony. You were arrested.

Not just the military, but really anything dealing with the federal government they will look at ANY arrest, a good rule of thumb is if a person was fingerprinted, if a person was arrested and booked but even not charged it will be looked at, it often goes into decision making of the person.
