14 SWO-IP, 49 IP, 57 CW, 142 Intel. 262 Total.
They need to nuke that SWO-IP b.s. and just let people come in as IP's and then create afloat IP billets.
Those are the total applications but there are duplicates on there. I found the at-board list and removed duplicates and got 178 individual applicants. Not sure if that's high or low for these boards.

I had thought they axed the SWO options for OCS candidates and only was having USNA/NROTC go that route, could have been a short term thing, but for a while it seemed that the word wasn't out to the OR's, @RecruitingGuru might remember that or shed some better light on it.

Anyone know if this board is expected to produce a lower selection rate for intel? I was told by one of the ORs that boards near the end of the FY tend to have very low selection rates due to the quotas being met already. Don't know if that's true considering that's my only source.

Who knows really. Theyre selecting for FY19 and FY20 so not inclined to agree with that school of thought.

That's not how officer boards work, I get the feeling your recruiter must be normally an enlisted programs recruiter helping out with officer recruiting, or just new to the OR gig.

I'm curious to see how fellow IP/Intel candidates and I stack up to each other. People who submitted packages for this board, can you reply with the following information:
Military status (include any NAMs/Evals, etc):
BS degree & GPA:
Advanced degree(s) (if any) & GPA:
OAR score:
Selection (i.e.; Whether you got the call yet or not & results- someone in this thread suggested we might hear in early July?):
OCS date (if any):
For example, here's mine:
Military status: No prior service
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (with a minor in Biology and a minor in Anthropology) - GPA: 3.26
Master of Science in Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering - GPA: 3.68
OAR: 68
Selection: Waiting for selection results
OCS date: Don't know yet (hoping for July 7th class -- class 17-19)
Also, if anyone has any other insight, it's appreciated!

I'm not sure what you mean by being professionally recommended... I got letters of recommendation from professors, one from a former NUWC administrator, and one from an active CMC. But no recommendations from the board yet? Sorry for my ignorance.
