it's OCEANOIs 1800 Cyber Intel? If so, that’s an affirmative from me as well.
cool I was beginning to think I was the only one in here. Part of me wishes the results were released by designator cause there are only like 7 of us that applied for it.Yep, I am
Yeah I'd imagine it would be much quicker for the board to go through our applications that waycool I was beginning to think I was the only one in here. Part of me wishes the results were released by designator cause there are only like 7 of us that applied for it.
the thing with IWC is that the board can move you to a different designator within the community if they feel you're a better fit. someone could go in for OCEANO but if the board thinks you're an excellent match for IP you might get slotted there instead. blessing and a curse, more bites at the apple but might not get your top choice.Yeah I'd imagine it would be much quicker for the board to go through our applications that way
I’ve had this question addressed within the Future Mustang Mentorship FaceBook group and all who responded cleared it up. If you apply for a designator and don’t get selected for that designator, that is it. You will not be potentially slotted for another IWC Designator just because you may be a good fit for it.the thing with IWC is that the board can move you to a different designator within the community if they feel you're a better fit. someone could go in for OCEANO but if the board thinks you're an excellent match for IP you might get slotted there instead. blessing and a curse, more bites at the apple but might not get your top choice.
nope, this only occurs within IWC and has happened every board, there are always a couple people that have applied for IP and are moved to IW, or apply for Intel and moved to IW.I’ve had this question addressed within the Future Mustang Mentorship FaceBook group and all who responded cleared it up. That is fascinating, and definitely good to know. Thanks for the share and my apologies for being so stand-offish toward your comment.also wanted to note this has happened on the June board:

No, these do not show up on NAVADMINs or other messages. For Fleet folks it goes out to BOL which is a front-facing part of the Electronic Service Record, and for Civilian Accessions it goes out to the recruiters. There is a grand list of everyone who made it and who did not that gets posted to...www.airwarriors.com
