I really hope you are right. Anything past next week and I have to deal with extending at my current command.

That is not that hard, just call your detailer and tell them you are pending results. They are going to have to Ord-Mod you anyways if you get selected as they are not going to PCS you prior to going to OCS.

I like your time line better. That would push our time to the 20th.?
If it’s any later, how are we expected to resubmit for 22-JAN? They will not accept a package if you already have one that is still under consideration.

There is a 6 month wait unless you have a significant change, OAR being the easiest one to give a reason to resubmit.

You have to wait 6 months between submissions? How about an eval that makes you more competitive, and the completion of other course work which will also make you more competitive?

If you are AD then an eval might do it for example if you are going from MP to EP, but going from for instance MP to MP really isn't a change

Perfect, that works for me then. Thank you. But that still doesn’t answer the question of “shouldn’t the results come out early enough to give an opportunity to resubmit for the next board?”

For my reconsideration I put in a new eval, totally rewrote my package, 100+hours of elearning officer classes, filled up max appraisals and got two LORs within a few months. Hopefully they look at the sheer effort I put in to it. And FYI if it's within 6 months call it a "reconsideration package" otherwise people seem to get really confused.

Thanks for the info and best of luck to you! Seems like you put a hell of a lot of work into your reconsideration.

Short answer is no, as it is not expected for a person who is denied at a board to resubmit for the next immediate board so they don't take that into consideration, now is it possible should the board results come out in time yes it is.

This makes sense to me. Thank you for the explanation!
