This gives me hope. I will be in the same boat if selected in the next board. Will need a quick turn around on FS and class date if I plan to commission before 27.

good, I have seen several who were already commissioned been sent down the wrong path that delayed the process.

I'll bet. Coming from the Army, trying to navigate the Navy paperwork piece was like learning a new language. But my OR was prior-Army as well, and seemed to be in the know as far as how to get me cleared to rock and roll if/when I pop up on a SNA/SNFO list.
But no man is infallible. So, how can I check to make sure I'm on the right track (without stepping on my OR's toes)? And, in the event that I find I am going down the wrong path, how can I verify this and/or correct it?

I would contact the OCM directly, that is what most IST's do, if an OR is helping you he is doing it out of the goodness out of his heart as he has no skin in the game for him, I started working with someone who was an Army Capt that wanted to switch over, I started asking questions and my COC rec'd an email for the Director of OCS accessions that we were not to work with or assist any commissioned officer from other services who wanted to do and IST and were directed to give them the OCM's contact.

If you look for AOCM on here I would contact him directly, he might be able to look at your status.

Anyone gotten a FS letter yet? My processor says mine is waiting to be signed by the PM. Anyone have a guesstimate how long that could take.

My recruiter had a bunch of guys from the Dec board just get their FS letters last week. Dates ranging from Aug-Sep. After my Pro-Rec he told me I could expect dates anywhere from July-Dec. After his last batch of FS letters he said that dates around Sep-Oct are a good possibility for me (Pro-Rec'd Mar). He was on point with everything else he's told me so far, so that's what I'm going on. I think I read somewhere that the FS letter can sit around at the PM waiting to be signed for a while and that's just a status. But I'm just waiting like everyone else. So I guess we probably wont hear anything for another couple months?

I don't know what specifically they were, all I know is they were aviation.

Haha I was just letting everyone know what they were dealing with obviously . I'm just ready to get my feet off the ground figuratively, and literally. This scalawag has been waiting patiently, although I'm ready to take the next step.

I've only seen a couple NFO's from my selection board post on AW, but none of us seem to have been getting any love from the PM yet. Any news through the grapevine about Dec board final selects gets me excited. I'm really looking forward to OCS and joining this awesome aviation community.

Well, hopefully this is the batch that moves the NFO's from that board. This is the first time I've heard of things moving from that board in awhile. Thank you for the info

Wish I could get a June or July date, I'm ready to start the journey! But I guess the bright side is at least I get to enjoy one last summer with my friends and more time to get prepared. Time to start looking at some Country Concert tickets!
