JAN/FEB/MAR 2014 Rolling SNA and SNFO Boards

Be wary of anyone who throws out solid dates especially for a rolling board. During last years July board we were having the same debate over when the board would release results, when a troll posted he had got "his" results that day. Everyone almost immediately called up their OR's asking if they had results (including me). Needless to say many OR's got phone calls that day because of the rumor mill, and a successful troll. Bottom line, divest yourself from the rumors and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration.

I remember that happening, I also called my OR that day..

Following up my post from earlier:MEPS has finally processed my MEDDOCs and cleared me to come back for a physical. The OR I have been working with is unsure if my ProY is still valid or not. I am going to assume it is no longer valid. Once I get cleared by MEPS I plan to resubmit. With SNA being a rolling board, how far in advance does a packet need to be submitted to be considered at the board? I have read the rumors that it will meet in March, so when would you think I would need to submit by?

I would try to submit everything as soon as possible. We don't really know when the board will meet in March, for all we know they may meet next month. As far as how far in advance, I believe its around a month.

Thanks, hopefully the board feels the same...I am tired of waiting. Shooting for May OCS, you?
I am tired of waiting as well, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I'm trying to get to OCS as soon as possible, but wouldn't mind waiting until Fall if need be. I'd rather have a slot than no slot at all.

Hey all, first time posting. Quick question. I am trying to submit my package for the April SNA/NFO board, and was told by my OR that I need to submit by mid March. The only thing I need to do is go through MEPS. How long will I have to wait to get a date for MEPS after submitting the paperwork for it? Thanks for any info! Here are my stats as well.

MEPS typically requires at least 3 business days ahead of time to give your recruiter the go-ahead to bring you into the station. Also, if I were you, I would get your packet in as soon as possible. The earlier the better.

Just an FYI that right now the scuttlebutt for OCS pilots is that after commissioning they are Oharping for 4 months before reporting to NASC Pensacola.

There was a time in the recent past when if you added up all the TAD time SNA were doing it was adding close to a year for them.

I have a quick question about the high school transcript portion. Will a photo copy of my already stamped certified to be a true copy (from my STA-21 applicant days) good enough? Or do I need to send my high school pages 11 and 12 from the application? I'm 6 weeks from meeting my B.S degree requirements, and want to drop my packet in the mail in March.
