There's no telling..probably related to the # of packages or timing. The best thing to do, if you know you're going to be seen at this board, is to just relax and try to keep the faith.

BS and speculation are like dripping water in a waiting room. It just aggravates you and makes the waiting worse. We should know something by next week so let's just keep waiting and stay calm.

I'm betting that this is the most accurate information out there, considering the OR talked with the SNA program manager. But who knows at this point..... I'm confused. I agree with you jtmedli, we should take all the talk with a grain of salt and just wait and be patient.
 
My OR also contacted the SNA/NFO program manager today, only to find out he was unavailable.... because he was currently in the pilot/nfo boards. It's pretty interesting how a period at the end of a sentence can make it appear that i'm not completely enthralled.

I wouldn't call it a wound.:D I've been playing this game for a while and the one thing I've learned from it is to be patient (coming from a guy who has no patience whatsoever) and keep the faith. My family is very impatient so I have to be the voice of reason sometimes.

Don't get me wrong!! I want to know just as bad as anyone, but everyone and their mother throwing out theories and 'he said, she said' type of hearsay really means jack-$hit until someone gets their Pro-Rec letter. Hopefully we'll all know something within the next week. Good or bad.

I couldn't agree with you more...but there is a reason we are all following this thread, we all want news no matter what it is. If you take any of it to heart, you are wrong. Until you get that letter.

Really, I don't think too many of us are really agitated about the fact we have a forum to talk, speculate, and BS. I would rather hear complete BS than have a forum that consists of 3 basic posts. 1. These are my stats. 2. History says the boards meets on the 15th. 3. PRO REC!

Speaking of rumor, I just heard that they added a $10,000 incentive for all new applicants receiving a pro rec letter. The balance will be paid in full after receiving your pro rec. Furthermore, all non selects will be required to pay $2,000 to help finance this incentive. GOOD LUCK everyone!
 
Definitely glad to see I'm not the only one stil in the dark about the January boards. I havent been able to get any solid information from my recruiter so I'm just gonna rely on the speculation here. Not a huge fan of waiting, but I suppose its out of our control.

I'm going for aviator as a bunch of you are.

Emailed my OR last night about the board results for supply. He emailed me back this morning "I will call you later today with details" I figured he will call to let me down easy instead of sending me a email. But at least we the supply results are definetly out! Good luck to everyone.
 
RUMOR TIME!!!! Ok, So being impatient (I have a lot to do if non select... overseas screening, yay!) I called a few places and no one picked up.... until I called NRD San Francisco! The gentleman I spoke to told me the SNA Board has met, and results are out! Now I don't know if he was telling me this to get me off the phone, but it's what I was told. He claimed he couldn't check on my app due to being a fleet applicant, so I will be calling the fleet processor in the morning for sure to see if they are out. I will post more as I find out!

To adress the rumors, this is the beginnings of the standard Navy issue Rumor Mill. If you get selected, get used to it. Nothing is true or false until the big man with all the glitter on his collar says so. And even then it needs to be on paper, in your hand. And even then....
