What have people been doing to prepare physically for OCS?

Mr Spenz,

I am not going to OCS but I am commissioning soon thru the DCO program. I have been training for a marathon using the Hal Higdon marathon training plan and it is awesome! I ran a half marathon last weekend and I finished in 2 hours 9 minutes. I know that’s not fast but its way faster than when I started (plus I’m almost 34). I am also doing the 100 push up plan and the 200 sit up plan. The gym is great and I love to workout but I’ve been focusing on smoking the PRT! I’m also working on improving my 1.5 mile run at least once a week with interval run training.

All of these plans are free and they will produce results if you hit it hard. I’ve lost a ton of weight by eating healthy, cutting out beer :( and working out 4-5 times a week.

Here are the links to those training plans if anyone is interested.

Does your account show both designators 13900 and SWO 11100? Or just SWO? Mine shows NS for Pilot, but SWo results are not on there.
I applied only SWO so mine shows that alone. I am not sure what happens if you apply for multiple designators. Call the help desk and tell them your BOL isn't working lol ;) maybe they will spill the beans.

I have nothing listed as well, It should say yay or nay if they are released
Yeah thats what I thought. I talked to the OCS help desk earlier, and he said that the results were posted this morning to BOL for fleet. I tried to explain to him that pilot was posted, but there was zero info for SWO and he wasnt trying to help he just kept repeating himself. Our OPO processors here said that they should all be posted visibly.

I can't be the only one thinking this: If the results are on BOL, why haven't us civilians been getting calls from our ORs? Maybe something is up with how they were released.

I'm wondering the same thing. I emailed my OR earlier, and he said that nobody from NRD Philadelphia has been given anything from the board yet. But since we also had a change in the OR between when packets were submitted and when the board convened, I'm wondering if it's possible that on some distribution list somewhere, my old OR's name was taken off but the new one wasn't put on for some reason. It's a fairly small clerical error and the DoD isn't immune to those, but it would mean not hearing squat until my OR is back in town in 2 weeks, and that's a helluva long time to wait.

Did you go for SNA/NFO or SWO?

So we have one confirmation, and that's it. I mean, I believe him when he says it's on his BOL, but there seems to be a whole lot of contradiction.

Edit: Apparently others have been getting their BOL results on that other navy ocs forum we all know....

Double Edit: Wait....no....same guy
