what percent of RL officers get jets?
I think I should fast from AW until I get my results back. I should forget that I even submitted my package. Its only been a week and a half and I'm going nuts. I'll look forward to coming back to the forum in mid-august, we'll see how long my fast will last haha.

McCpilot, I was getting subluxation of the patellal soo they accually cut my shin bone where the patellar tendon attaches and moved it soo my knee tracks properly. This was done on both knees itsucked but it worth it to be SNA pro -rec I also heard wavier should be no prob as long as I am 100%. Keep intouch when you pick up finial select we might have the same OCS class due to our medical hold ups.

SNA Final Select
I'm sure our OCS dates will be fairly close, if not the same. Good luck with your waivers. Hopefully we wont run into any issues. Like you said, shouldn't be a problem. Def keep in touch. I'm thinking Sept. OCS class date for sure, if not later. I really doubt I'll have everything together in time for August. I'm preparing for the worst though, hate to be caught out of shape if they call me for the 18th... that'd suck.

The PRT doesn't factor in to your professional selection. It is part of the final selection process. You may or may not have it completed prior to Pro-rec but it doesn't play a factor.

How does it factor in? Do they let you in as long as you get the good-low or what?

That's bad gouge..it ALLLLLL factors in. Think about this way, while an increase in PRT score alone is not enough for a resubmittal, if the boar see's that you were a Good Low on the first app and your resubmittal is an Outstanding Medium, that will factor in, it shows desire to improve. The aviation community and especially OCS, your physical fitness is paramount.

Just to be clear, you have to have the PRT in to get pro-reced, but not meps?

i dont think it's a requirement...but a lot of recruiters (including mine) have their guys/gals do the PRT and MEPS before they submit, just helps speed up the Final Select process...and it should be good for you too because if you get through it and know everything went A-OK then you dont have to worry about a possible devastation bomb being dropped on you after you had already been pro-rec'd.

That's how a lot of us submit our packages now, but not all. Some NRDs are sending in just the PRODOCS and completing MEPS and PRT following pro-rec. Goob83 correct me if I'm wrong.

*MODS: You may want to merge these last few posts to the 2008 July thread. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on here...

How long does it usually take to hear back about final select?

Mason, who was your OR, Zeigler, White? Congrats, btw.

Congrats to everyone who got selected. My recruiter told me yesterday that he wouldn't know anything until next week and now the results are out? He's also on leave as of today :icon_rage. My hair is turning grey....

I posted this on the JULY08, but Mason could you give us some information about your selection or July08, because it seems that no one else up for this board has heard anything. It would be greatly appreciated.
