Daughter walks into my room. "Daddy, your always working. Work all day, then come home and study all night." Me. "Thats because Daddy wants to be successful." Daughter. "Successful is hard work." (yeah I know... she is 5 haha). Me. "Its always well worth it in the end baby. Now lets get you to bed before you ruin Daddy's chance at success!" 
Not yet. I will be looking to retest the first week in October. Gives me a little more time to study and enough time to submit package by the end of October.

I just retook my ASTB the other day and ready to resubmit, my OR says he wants my package in by mid Oct to allow for kickbacks with any problems and to give us enough time for corrections. I wouldn't push your retake and submition date to far out.
Both. And most of the IP selects were from the fleet.

Hey guys,
been on this site for a while, but first post. I took the ASTB too close to the cutoff for the July boards (late June), so I will have to wait for the December boards for my SNA/SNFO packet. It's a pretty daunting and annoying wait process, but pretty damn exciting too. As draining as the waiting can be, this site has been a lifeline for daily motivation. Hopefully we will all be getting the best Christmas presents of our lives this year, and I imagine that if I do make it in, I will have already talked to a lot of my future brothers on this site. Thanks for all of the resources, and expect to hear much more from me.

How did the ASTB turn out?
Still no news. I had to take the paper and pencil format, because their computer system was down. Pins and needles again!
That has to suck. Waiting yet again. Just hang in there my friend. Your waiting on great news. No sweat
