By this time the selection process for this month is over. Everyone who is going to be selected already is. The results should be out in the next day or 2.

Man I would love to hear something back in the next two days. My recruiter said that the 24th is the earliest I should expect to hear something. Looks like I'll be bugging him come Wednesday.

Thunder...does this mean that the NFO boards were today? I also applied for IWO and SWO and their boards are supposed to meet this week as well but on what days I have no idea.

SNA, SNFO, SWO meet the same day. IWO is generally later in the month. Last month we found out the day after the board met. Here's to hoping for a speedy reply for you all.

BigIron, I hope you're right. I have been turning up the heat on my training to make sure I am nothing short of ready to turn and burn at OCS. I love working out in the fall, reminds me of football, and would be a great time to go through OCS.

Experience in tactical data link, air and surface defense and search radars, communications

Battle force tactical trainer, ships self defense force, common high band data link and basic air control and vectoring

LOC/LOR from various commanding officers (0-6) from CVN-71 as well as the admiral of CSG 2

Operations Department Blue Jacket of the Quarter and Rough Rider security patrolman of the month

I called around 1:30 and spoke with the secretary. She is really on top of things and knows what is going on. She said that she hasn't heard anything and will call as soon as she does. I remember reading the previous couple month's threads about the boards and thought to myself... "what's a couple days more wait?" Now I know... this waiting sucks, but soon enough we'll hear. I have a final paper due Friday and can't focus AT ALL. At least when one of us hears the news we'll all know the results are out. Good luck everybody.

Checked with my station's secretary who is also on top of her stuff. She said that the computer system wasn't able to access the results. That leads me to believe one of two things...... One, the computer system sucks, or two, they could be updating the results and no one has access at this time. Lets hope it's the latter. Best of luck.

The above could be the case. As I recall, I didn't find out until the early evening hours as well.

Well... considering that the computer I was using to take the ASTB froze mid math section (and had to be restarted) I wouldn't doubt the computer sucking explanation for the results being unavailable, but I will be positive and say that it looks like we'll hear soon. Ciao.

When I took the ASTB the power went out in the building and the computer froze numerous times. Computers suck.
