To maintain the trend of going off-topic, I would like to point out the fact that racism is funny when cleverly employed, such as by Dave Chappelle.


On topic, I would say that the whole national-identity topic is blown way out of proportion. The nation's identity has changed significantly in the past 30 years on its own, and it wasn't really due to immigration. This is not direct observational evidence, as I was not alive, but second-hand observation. Think about the difference between the 70's and now, and project that change to the upcoming 30's. I think things will only get better for all concerned.
 
at least they decided to get out of Kyoto protocol when the socialist Rudd realized it would ruin his economy.

Racism is funny no matter what because it's ironic that people get worked up about claims that are so obviously untrue.

... which was one of the major reasons that the Liberal party was roundly voted out of office, replaced with a party (and PM) that ran on the prospect of a quick ratification of Kyoto...
