Letter to Sen McCain RE CBRN use in Syria

Max the Mad Russian

Hands off Ukraine! Feet too
Assad will resume killing as before. Just maybe with fewer chemical weapons. Russia will keep their buddy in power as well as a Mediterranean port.

That's for sure. Mr. Putin wants to control Levant to prevent any gas tube's existance except for his own. Again, neither good nor bad - usual politics in this world. Who knows where is the proper place for military man in this fucking world...

Are you suggesting that the best way for America to use its power is by killing people?

I'm of the belief that we shouldn't have to use our military to influence other countries.
Like saying there’s a “red line” and then not doing anything when it’s crossed?

That sounds awfully similar to telling North Korea it would be met with "fire and fury" if they continued to make threats to the US. I haven't seen any action there. Is that any different?

You’re asking if this:

Trump added that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.”

Is the same as specifically giving an ultimatum regarding the use of chemical weapons? Is that a serious question?

Very naive. Not wanting to, but always being prepared to, are two very different things.

Agreed, I should have worded my statement differently. I fail to see how us getting involved in the Syrian Civil War advances our interests. I wonder which of the AUMFs this was justified under.

Well, the quote actually started as "North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States, They will be met with fire and the fury like the world has never seen."

A clear if you take this action, we will do this.

A few hours later, the DPRK threatned Guam.

If Hokie is 'desperate' attacking the President by using Alex Jones, what does it say about the President that he was not just interviewed by Jones but praised him during said interview?
Sounds like an irrelevant fallacy to me. Am I wrong?

And yes I’m aware I did something similar IRT Alex Jones. But he’s a complete crackpot dipshit.
