Pro-rec'd INTEL!!!!!
I honestly and truly hope that I have the pleasure and great fortune to meet all of you people at OCS. Judging by our AW interaction, we would be a hell of an awesome class!

I second that... and the whole 52/52 100%. The only question is... what kind of puppies will they give us?

On SNA %s, my OR said ~50%. That's good news for everyone here I hope! Also, sounds like EOD/SPECWAR and Nuke are priority for OCS slots, so I'm looking at leaving in the Aug/Sept time frame if everything goes well.

In retrospect, kinda glad I got laid off. Now I get some severance money + job loss benefits I wouldn't have gotten should I have just left normally. Now normally, I wouldn't have left until I was actually leaving for OCS, but everything works out, right?

Crossing my fingers for everyone here. I feel like a 10 ton weight has been lifted off me. I'd have a beer but I'm right at weight limits, need to polish off this diet before MEPS next week and drop the 5lbs.

I'm beginning to think i should have applied for SNA. If I don't get pro-rec'd i might next month. What were the requirements?

Im not sure what the exact requirements were but it was somewhere around 4/4/3 for the ASTB although I've seen people with 7/7/7 not get in.

I wish everyone that was getting reviewed had their stats up so we know where we stand.

Ask and ye shall receive. Pro-Rec SNA May 09

ASTB 8/8/6/66
3.27 Electrical and Computer Engineering from Marquette University
3 LORs from former employers (nothing fancy)
Extras: President and VP of my college Fraternity, President of the IEEE Marquette Chapter, a bunch of honor societies. No real volunteering or any of that sorta stuff.
No prior flight time

I think that covers the basics, eh?

I think you have to be part super-hero to fly fighters.
Funny you should mention that. Bc I have saved my fair share of damsels in distress over the years. And almost all of them weren't wearing that much at the time of rescue. Ah the perks of being a lifeguard..... of course most of them were 13ish....but I digress. Being a superhero doesn't require super smarts or endless strength. Just the stubborn stupidity to never give up and super skills at denial so you believe they are laughing with you not at you. Oh ya and an unhealthy level of over-confidence bordering on the cocky. And a cape helps also. no need for a mask...or anything else for that matter if i can refer to my previous post. (it still counts as public nudity if your wearing a cape....and nothing else apparently according to a very surprised police officer. But accounts vary.)
