I was the SDO for VT-4 today so I'll pass the real word here to give y'all a good idea of what's up. TRAWING-6 (VT-4, VT-10, & VT-86) are flying their aircraft out tomorrow morning. TRAWING-6 is NOT a mandatory evac, however; it is STRONGLY recommended that you leave just in case. As for return times, etc...for VT-4 Tuesday will be the return day and you should expect to be back at work on Wednesday (although the definition of 'work' is sketchy). So there, you have it...back by Wednesday unless things get crazy and then it'll be longer. There are no plans to return anyone back prior to Wednesday as ALL academics are cancelled for Monday and Tuesday and the planes won't be back to resume flight ops until late Tuesday at the earliest. The CDO's for VT-10 and VT-4 will be on-deck tomorrow until the planes arrive off-site and then they will be released as the CDO shack at the off-site location stands up. Additionally, the base issued this statement this afternoon:

Hope this gives all the NAS P-cola guys a better, and more official, view of what is occurring/what to expect.
