That sucks. Police or Fire? Or military?
None of the above. Just your average Joe citizen doing what has to be done. He worked right net to the freeway, so.

Aside from being a well maintained, clean, touristy, scenic city, why exactly does San Fran trump a crime-ridden cesspool like New Orleans. Bonus points if you can avoid referencing liberals or gays.

So you're saying being gay or liberal isn't a crime?

Kidding.

But seriously folks....What does god (mother nature) have against the Naval Aviation community? Come on...Pensacola needs a time out from the Hurricanes.

freshy...look at this way: You get a couple extra days to study and plan out your flights. Well, I guess if you haven't gotten past contacts yet then the flight planning stuff doesn't really apply. As for me, though, I'm a route plannin' fool!

Any updates on how the P'Cola area's looking so far today?

just went driving to check it out...very little damage and only very minor flooding down by the waterfront. A few trees down but nothing to speak of really...

I don't even want to know what I would be doing right now if Katrina hit Pensacola. NASP would be off the map.

The tropical storm came over Nashville early this morning, so of course last night when the outer bands were coming through we set up a slip and slide on the lawn outside our dorm at about 1 AM :icon_smil

Study? Anytime I get a break it means drink and party, not study. Maybe that had something to do with my less than stellar NSS.

Talk about a spoolex and a bone all in one... My squadron got back 7 days ago today. We're sending 2 aircraft down to help out. Unfortunately, the guys who are current on the boat are also mainbody guys. "Hi Honey, I'm home. I'll see you in 3 weeks"

Wish I could fill a spot for someone. I'm trying to whore myself to getting over there and help one of the HSL-east squadrons that just arrived.
