You don't go batshit crazy. It is unproductive and could ruin your career.
Mine was a live-in; no alimony. She threatened me, my career and my guns. I got back most of the money she took (via credit issued to her in my name) never lost either my guns or my career. AND, most importantly, I made many copies (VHS) of both the tape she made with another man (while I was away at ASO school) and her address book.
Trev82, consider yourself lucky to have found out this early that she is not the one for you. This is not to compare her to mine, or MBs or Intruder Drivers. And she may very well be a wonderful person...but, being wonderful does not mean that she is the one for you.
Keep plugging away, you will find someone.
I met my wife in 98. She held the door open for me (happened to see me get out of the truck on crutches) and I thought 'wow, great ass'. Got to know her for a couple of months, dated, then got married two years later for the first time at the age of 45. I met some nice women along the way, but am very glad I waited until my career was firm and I knew there would be no more deployments..and I met the right woman for me. She is absolutely faithful and has strong family values and......buys me guns, keeps my humidor set, etc.
Good luck to you...and be patient.
