As described in the Ship Photo of The Day thread, I'm in Boston onboard USS Constitution, where I received my commission after completing NROTC at Boston University.

Parked my BMW R1200GS near the pedestrian entrance of the Navy Yard. The Park Police Officer, after seeing my Navy license plate on my bike allowed me to "park anywhere I want".

Upon departing the ship, I spied the ships offices and noticed the OpsO parking space occupied by a KTM 1190 adventure bike. I actually got to meet this young gentleman and we compared bikes and riding gear. Fun times.

If you are in New England for a bit make sure to see the Cassin Young (next door to the Constitution) then motor down to Fore River to see the USS Salem (last big gun cruiser built for the navy) and then come up to Portsmouth to visit the USS Albacore, the first US “tear drop” sub.
