I'm pretty sure I have that one. The rule of thumb I use is to divide the number of guns it says it can hold by half, and use that as a realistic number.

Apart from getting mold in the safe (minor basement flood) it has been great.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything from Liberty... Now that it's common knowledge they'll give up your manufacturer's master code without a warrant, those safes are at risk.

Golden rods do a nice job, if your space isn't too humid to begin with. I also keep a dehumidifier in the room, so the outside air is maintained >45% RH.

Of course, flooding is going to be another problem entirely.

After about 20 years my cannon safe broke; when I opened it you could feel the door shift at the hinge. After two calls and a picture, they had a similar one sent to me from Tractor Supply (after I signed my name in blood saying I wouldn't use the old one!). I was impressed with their customer service...but yeah, that's a screaming deal on that winchester safe!

How did you install it - just drill a hole in the back of the safe and run the power cable through?

My safe came with a pre-drilled hole for the cable.

At least you got a normal AR. Here in NY state, semi-autos now require a special license (which effectively bans them for those who do not have non-family references) but for those semi-autos you CAN buy, you have to get an AR pretzel variant or "Franken-gun" version to be legal in terms of an AR-15. .
