Nice scores man!! I'm sure your happy to finally have that monkey off of your back.
Now, HURRY UP AND WAIT!!!! Lol, at least you are in good company!
Congrats on your scores. I didn't get into the March board because my first OR wanted me to have my physical and finger prints done (again) before I was put up (needless to say I harbor slight resentment for him). I found it odd that finger prints expire, but they will keep your asvab for life.thanks for the info!! my OR's processor administered the exam this morning, and she said they're trying to get MEPS completed within the same timeframe as submitting the SF-86 because they get your fingerprints during the physical.. and apparently fingerprints have an "expiration date" lol. so, i think they're trying to get it all done in one fell swoop to avoid having to redo them if the board doesn't meet past that cutoff. YMMV based off of recruiting districts, though?
i consider you guys the best company to be in, and i look forward to hurrying up and waiting with y'all
From my understanding of what has been read, the applications are being reviewed as the board recieves them.
If this were true wouldn't the odds dictate that at least one of us might have gotten some feedback by now? They will review them to make sure no pieces are missing before being seen by the board, but I would say they are not reviewing them for selection as they come in.
From what I understand, recruiters are evaluated based on the quality of the applicant they submit to board. Whether or not they are offered a commission is immaterial in the end.
Well done, but you really must be bored today
NavyOffRec or another recruiter (can not recall the name) clarified this on another thread. If I recall correctly, recruiters are on a points system that is awarded based on the number of applicants they submit that are selected--with bonus points if they are already physically qualified when they go to the board.
He should spend less time internet-ing and more time studying. That being said, perhaps GISpirate12 you'd be interested in purchasing my ASTB study book?
