I just finished TBS about 3 weeks ago. We are still fighting in Centralia. I'm still waiting for my Centralia Action Ribbon and Campaign Medals. I had what seemed like 40 deployments out there.
Here is some sweet Centralia gear (if you haven't already acquired yours....):

That's excellent. I may have to pick up some of that stuff for a handful of buddies. Thanks!
They would go well with braided belt, khaki shorts, and topsiders.

A necessary evil required at OCS and TBS, and dropped promptly thereafter.
I have a Marine Neighbor. He's a Major. He still dresses like he's on weekend liberty from fighting the centralians.
For the record, I am not MB's neighbor. I was repatriated from Centralia, and have never looked back.I have a Marine Neighbor. He's a Major. He still dresses like he's on weekend liberty from fighting the centralians.
Unfortunately you're likely speaking the truth; I'm only speaking for the Marines I spend my time around, and they're generally aviators, and hence have more sense and have consumed less kool-aid.
But then how do you all show off the massive "guns" that are only shown to best advantage in TIGHTLY rolled sleeves?Infantry Marines like sleeves down- more practical.
Being stationed in nothing but the desert (29 Palms/Iraq), sleeves down is the best thing, no matter how HOT it got. We never rolled our sleeves up in Garrison. In the field, sleeves down. The only time our arms were exposed, was boots and utes. Infantry Marines like sleeves down- more practical.
