They pulled an Officer Barbrady "Move along, nothing to see here." But seriously, a blind man could see this coming, I will give them some credit for being blunt about it and not trying to hide it.

surely they cannot see NK being anything less than a pain in the world's ass.

North Korea is not China's lap dog by any stretch of the imagination.

However, I am still of the opinion that the bad guys have to withdraw first, a la Leage of Nations.

More specifically, it's the UN Security Council that typically prevents any action from taking place and look who's on permament membership roster with veto authority:

China, France, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and United States

So they may well look out for their neighbor to the south
