You can own “warbirds”’under the Experimental Exhibition class as a private citizen- including an F-4! You just need to two things….American citizenship and bags, huge bags, of money.
"Commercial", not privately owned. I know that Collings got some waivers for an F-4D and an F-100, but as I understand, that was a heavy lift.

That would be interesting. A lot of those were operated by the RVN AF.
To make my comment more accurate, any pilot would need the correct certificate to fly certain warbirds ( over 12500 gross weight and/or a speed in excess of 250 knots).

I think she said it's a B variant; I'm not smart on such things.
That’s an old “B.” It has a few modernizations but the rotor head is the giveaway. Do they plan on making it airworthy?

Easy question for the home team. I saw this image of a Navy -60. It is marked as an HSC-22 bird but appears to be missing a lot of bumps and bolt-ons. So, is HSC-22 still around and/or is this helicopter just a slick version heading directly from the Sikorsky plant?

I'm no H-60 genius - but that looks like an Army UH-60A. Odd that there is no BuNo. I wonder if it's some sort of airshow bird or used by TPS or something one-off. HSC-22 decomm was 2023. It almost looks like an H-60 painted up by someone trying to make it *look like* an MH-60S but really didnt know what they were doing - lol

But even I know that's no Sierra!

EDIT - found it

This guy already owns an H-60 and now he wants a CH-46! It is crazy how this “influencer” stuff pays!

Yeah, this dude has had huge success but most people don't ever get there. He also has several businesses that he uses his YouTube channel to market for.

Tell that to all the commercial CH-47D and UH-60A operators out there!
Well, HeavyDSparks (The YouTuber in question) owns a diesel mechanic and customization shop and a salvage/rescue business. I believe he has his helicopters registered with the salvage business and uses them frequently for that line of work. I don't think any of these YouTubers with any of these cool aircraft own their aircraft in their own name. If for nothing else, it saves them tax payments.
