I will admit to being ambidextrous in aviation, about 50/50 with my flight time between FW & RW.Where's the cyclic?
TBH, when I first glanced at the pic it felt comfortable. ☺️I will admit to being ambidextrous in aviation, about 50/50 with my flight time between FW & RW.
But that 182's panel is light years ahead of the -46 when I flew it.

And they didn't have these in the 182 either.

That allowed for highly calibrated readings below 140.Having the frog airspeed indicator go all the way to 250 seems like a waste of space, lettering, etc.....
Eventually, after extensive combat experience with the Corps and flight test.Navy SR&M D model!

Phrogs Phorever!!!Video from the Navy H-46 Sundown
Have a copy of the last NATOPS manual for both the Navy H-46D and CH-46EPhrogs Phorever!!!
And with Columbia Helicopters owning the type certificate for the BV-107, and recent sales to Heliswiss, the Phrog will be around for many years to come.

You’re too nice…I was going to “suggest” they fired the left and/or right 40mm cannon - but NATOPS prohibited firing both at once.Elongated hydraulic toe brakes - to allow more leverage and braking power.
