Nice walkaround of a older RAF SAR Sea King - would be interesting to read comments by the likes of @IKE and @Gatordev contrasting tech in the current gen 60's. But I am impressed what a well designed flight deck this Sea King has.

Cool livery on USAF U-18 (Twatter) serving the parachute team . Seen at KCGZ. Lots of military drop planes frequent the airport due to close by sky diving hots spots for both military and civilian: Yuma Proving Ground, KMZJ, KP08, KE60, KAVQ. HALO and experimental rig jumps have contributed to a number of military fatalities over the years.
I work with a number of A-10 guys who have been incredulous that this airplane has no crew escape system. But obviously it's strong suit is forced landing survival. "SFL" is a strong syllabus point for single engine platforms in AF. U-28 (PC-12) practice extensively. We adopted their syllabus and it's confidence building to know you can land a fat wing airplane off airport with minimum energy, and survive. Memories of T-34 HAPL/LAPL days.
