I just got my orders a few days ago. I have a report date NLT Feb 2nd 07. Just wondering if anyone else will be showing up in Pcola at the same time
 
haha....yeah you are right....I wonder how I'm going to explain that when I get down there.....

Start looking for a place to live now.

I just reported in to API yesterday and they will only authorize you 10 days to live in the BOQ while you house hunt. Finding an extra room to move in to really isn't the problem - there always seem to be available ones. The problem is finding someone to live with that will be around as long as you (ie - SNA vs. NFO, P'cola vs. Whiting, IFS vs. Already Classed Up). Otherwise, you're moving in and out of short term leases trying not to have to cover a $1500 rent all by yourself for two months.

Its good to hear that someone else has the same report date as me. I'm the only Dec. grad at my ROTC unit so I don't know anyone else going down at the same time. Feel free to PM me if you want to keep in touch before we end up in Pcola!

you know better than too say something like that! Now I am going to show up to Fl and the whole of NAS PCola is going to think its true...haha thanks a lot!!
 
so my buddy and I (both SNAs) are graduating and commissioning from GT in 2 1/2 weeks, but still don't have any orders or any idea whatsoever of when we're going to get down to pcola. any thoughts or suggestions out there?
 
Also, don't forget to check-in in your service dress blues. This is very, very important.
