Your scores are almost identical to mine, 9/9/9/71, 3.79 BS Mech Eng, 288 PFT, no prior service or pilots license, good LORs but no military.

Sadly, I did't get selected because I couldn't get a tattoo waiver approved . 9 months of laser surgery didn't even help. After being turned down 3 times, I called the Navy recruiter. The rest, as they say, is history.

Heay, both your scores are about where mine were too - 9/9/9! Well, mine were 5/6/7 to be exact, but close enough right? :D

By the way, whats the secret to getting 9/9/9s...any hints?

The secret to getting 9's is to get all of the questions right. Well, you can miss a few. That being said, however, nobody cares what your ASTB is in API or any other phase of flight training. It is purely a selection criteria. Once you are in ... it's history. I'm sure the Navy records it somewhere, but it isn't in my training jacket (as far as I know).

Geez...

With those scores you shouldn't have much problem. Only thing to worry about is the GPA. I don't know what's on the rest of your app, but those scores speak for themselves.
