Are you not around your DIs and RDCs after the first 3 weeks that much besides like drill and inspections?
You definitely spend a ton of time with your DI for drill and have an occasional brief from your class officers/RDC about miscellaneous officer things, but otherwise you're in class most of the time learning engineering/weapons or history from various instructors and don't interact with them much that much, similar to Indoc phase but just without Candio's with you 24/7. My class team very rarely showed up randomly to see if we were goofing around but that's cause there are already eyes everywhere watching you.

Your entire class team will most likely be at every squadron PT and every event during your time at OCS. Your DI may not be there as much after the drill competition, but he/she will still be around as a senior enlisted with plenty of mentorship experience to give out should you want it (you definitely should talk to them)

My original class team (I med rolled a few times) showed up the Thursday before RLP just to harass us and make sure we were actually preparing lol, they definitely got a kick out of it 🤣

So would you say that it levels out physically and getting yelled at decreases after RLP?

Yeah, it becomes more like a college-ish schedule during JOC and SOC. You'll do squadron PT in the mornings, class during the day, and study during the down time. You'll also get scheduled watches, so time management and efficiency are a priority

That’s actually not terrible at all

Not a question, but I figured this would be a good spot to post:

I created a quizlet outlining the knowledge expected upon arrival and during at least the first three weeks of OCS.

OTCNINST 1530.6M APPENDIX B - ROOM LOCKER PERSONNEL INSPECTION REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

I also created a 6-week Fitness Improvement Program designed to improve your PFT scores and to help condition your body for OCS.

6-Week Fitness Improvement Plan
Gonna try it out! I really like the structure of it. Can be very useful for people who just don't know how to break up their training efficiently.

This is great, I'm gonna try it out. When it comes to this training 3 days a week, is it supposed to be consecutive i.e. Mon, Tue, Wed?

Thank you! I worked hard on it.
From the front page, row 69: it does not matter which day you choose to train as long as it is convenient for you.
In your opinion, what should I do for running, I can barely run more than 400m [0.25 mi] in one go, which means that I can't even do a successful baseline test
