My question is: At what point am I officially a member of the military? I only ask because one of the military benefits I'd be interested in taking advantage of is SCRA + MLA. Would I have to wait until after I get a commission, at what point do I qualify?

Just verified SCRA, is from the first day of active duty to 180 days after leaving active duty. MLA is after 30 days of consecutive active duty.
