Not having a business or STEM-related major puts you a competitive disadvantage. I would recommend considering SWO or NFO if your overall goal is to become a Naval Officer.

Point taken - I was primarily hoping to provide motivation to others as I know it can be discouraging to be repeatedly told no. Additionally, I was hoping to provide myself as an outlet for networking, sharing experiences, or even sanity checks. Just trying to be helpful.

^Honestly, is this normal? I've seen that a bunch of people have heard back on this forum. Granted, many are active duty, and from what I've gathered active duty personnel tend to hear first.

Thank you, sir. I texted him on Monday to keep an eye out for the status of my package this week and he replied that he would the day after. So, maybe it's just that he's really busy due to this being the Los Angeles office. I'll give him a call tomorrow.
