SWO Board 12APR21

Yes I called them the day I saw the list and they said that they haven’t reached out to me because it was unofficial and wanted to wait until they received the official letter.

At this point, I was just wondering how like it is for my unofficial Yes to become an official No. and vis versa for those who got unofficial No. I don’t want to get my hopes up for it to be an actual Official No. And likewise for those who got a unofficial no for it to become an official yes.
That list is an official Y if you were listed as Pro-Rec-Y. They might be talking about your select letter, but that comes like ~30 days prior to ship date.

I got rolled from the board with a 41% selection rate and rejected by the board that had a 60% selection rate. Don't know whether to be mad or disappointed.
Right in the same exact boat with you man I've been at this for two years and due to covid This is the first board I made it to. I'm deciding if I should keep trying or look at other branches.

First attempt on the OAR and I received a 46. I was told by my recruiter that I should apply for the next SWO board (August), with this score. He said I have a strong APSR motivational statement and Letter of Rec. file. I'm nervous that this OAR doesn't "stand out" enough. I am tempted to apply with this score though so I don't waste another try on the OAR this go around. Thoughts?

Apply for the coming SWO board. If you don't get Pro-Rec'd, take the OAR again. If you score higher, that's a material change to your packet and lets you skip the otherwise 6 month wait to re-apply.

your GPA, degree, and such is more important, no one really cares about the OAR
