@exNavyOffRec has stated previously that FY22 means your graduation date is in FY22. Meaning July is when "FY22" starts in terms of OCS dates because that's the first month whose classes will graduate in the new fiscal year.

However, for what it's worth, my current OR says FY22 means starting in October.

OCS date goes by commissioning date....since OCS is close to three months, you might ship out up to three months before FY22 starts...meaning end of July

I do have family history of serving in the Navy which I included in my motivational statement. Captain of two varsity sports teams in highschool and captain of a travel baseball team as well. Worked jobs while doing all of that, scholar athlete in highschool. College I just went to class, exercised a lot, and did intramural sports at the University. Not a part of any clubs or organizations in college. I did have 2 internships during college, one being a management trainee internship. Had a job out of college and saw that I wanted to pursue the Officer program instead. Not sure how strong that compares to some of ya'll who seem extremely bright.

Family history is nice, but it's not everything. In my family, we've had O-4 (Army), O-6 (West Point/Army), O-3 (AFA/Air Force), and a SEAL mustang. That doesn't necessarily reflect upon me beyond the fact that the desire to serve is in my bloodline, but it's a good start to qualify why you're interested in the Navy.

In the end, they're really just going to choose the packets they feel will do the best.

Thank you, Sir. Also one more question. The OAR, I know it is scored by single increments. Does the counting of correct answers start from 20? Or is it much more complicated with how they score the OAR.

I'm not quite sure how they score the OAR. That would be a better question for your recruiter.

I do know that as you correctly answer questions, they get progressively more difficult.

FY 22 does start Oct 1st, but your OR should know that officers go by "commissioned by date" if he doesn't that is a serious knowledge issue on his part.
