SWO BOARD 17AUG20

Supply Corps has around 120 "ish" quotas for the fiscal year and they get about 40-55 applicants per board, Please take into consideration that these numbers are estimations based off the at-board list and the reports from previous years.

Are you looking at OCS quotas or overall quotas? Historically Supply has had about a 10-20 percent acceptance rate.

I’m looking at what’s on nmpte the at board list and the previous years numbers for how many supply officers accessions
The 120 is probably an overall number, of course the at board numbers would be specific to OCS, since USNA and NROTC isn't a primary accession source for supply you aren't looking at the standard 1/3 of the total number but it would get knocked down a little bit for those that have to go Supply from USNA and NROTC, then a few who get redesignated in OCS. In larger designators that doesn't have much effect but in Supply it can, so taking 1/3 out of the number might be a bit much however it should give a decent approximation.

I think he was thinking that due to the lack of traffic on the Supply Corps forum that that community wasn't getting many applicants.

Would be stoked to be wrong, but considering the 8/3 SNA/SNFO is still waiting on results I wouldn't hold my breath. If they really are doing it now by matching Prorecs with OCS dates before releasing all results, we might be waiting a minute.

Based on Feb board trend. It should be coming soon.

The February board was still something like 17(?) days before responses, wasn't it? And that was pre-COVID, pre-OCS assignments as part of the process, and half the size.

Many who are going for things other than Supply don't really find this site so that can be misleading, even with aviation it is a low amount, there was a time I looked at the people who commented and those who applied overall and it was about 10%, I believe it would be higher now, I am sure it would be easy enough to figure out since there are a few spreadsheets of people on this site, then just look at the number of Y and N from the released list.

My officer recruiter told me “each board is different and don’t compare this board with other boards”. What do you make of it?

Can someone explain matching prorec y with OCS dates? At first I thought this meant they were placing candidates in seats before releasing results. But this isn't the case its seems the seats that are getting filled are from the May candidates and the most recent selects don't have dates yet which are the supply selects. someone please explain.

I'm understanding the same as you.
