All of these statements are true, AND, I think it won't matter because of the position so many of these folks' occupy (and/or their net worth is above a key threshold for clear applicability of the rules).

Nothing is blowing up except Uncle Sam's OPSEC. It's playground rules. When the "cool kid" in the class breaks the rules, sometimes even the teacher doesn't punish them (turns out, even teachers care about popularity). That wonderful human truth is currently driving my 12 year-old son insane (and me, as I try to explain normalization of deviance as a behavioral concept to a 12 year old). As I have said before, I hope I'm wrong about all this, but there seems to be no desire for accountability against anyone in POTUS's circle of courtiers.

Based on my understanding of what happened, it would have said "J G has left the chat" but only Mr Waltz would have seen it.
